Mini-Exhibition 2014 – Carleton in the Great War

Review of the Exhibition

The exhibition was held on 2nd/3rd and 9th/10th August between 1.00 pm and 5.00 pm in St Mary’s Church, Carleton. It was well received: just over 130 people visiting the exhibition over the four half-days, of whom 40  left comments in the visitors book, all complimentary. The display gave information on: those named on the Carleton WW1 Memorials; some of the Carleton men who fought and survived the war; the activities going on in Carleton during the war years; what was influencing life in Britain generally; and the participation of men from families who have moved to Carleton since the war.
